The structure focuses on the avant-garde movements that greatly influenced regional culture between WWI and WWII, as well as the spreading of constructivist aesthetics, and its network development. The objective of the exhibition is to direct attention both the public and profession on the intellectual achievements of avant-garde, and also the less uncovered relations that played crucial role in the dispersal of this form of art. Tóth Menyhért (1904-1980) was the most universal artist of the hungarian fine art in the 20th Century. He was always autonomous and walked on his own way, never intended to follow the current national trends directly. In the temporary exhibition there can be seen the artworks from the collection of Kecskemét Gallery (Ornamented Palace), where there are more than 90 % of the artist's life work. Bővebben >>
