The Journey of Humanity - The genetic Family Tree of our People

The exhibition "The Journey of Humanity" was designed by the Washington based National Geographic Society selecting from the collection "Genographic Project". The National Geographic Society, alongside IBM, Spencer Wells and the Waitt Foundation set off the Genographic Project five years ago with the objective of finding knowledge of about the migratory history of the human species The second stage of the international travelling exhibition is at the "House of Future" in Budapest. World Press Photo 2008 - Photo exhibition

The World Press Photo Exhibition is open at the Inn building at the Millenaries Park from 2008 with 185 pictures from the past few years.

Attendance record: 80536 pictures by 5019 photo-reporters from 125 countries. An international jury of 13 decided to award the best 59 photo reporters from 23 countries. Read more >>

Camera Obscura

The House of Hungarian Photographers has announced an application on occasion of the Renaissance Year entitled "Camera Obscura". Applicants may send in the application forms until 30 September. A representative exhibition is to be organized of the material sent in in October 2008 when the finals are also held. Earlier, from 18 September, we invite visitors to see our selection of the works sent in for the application to the open air exhibitions at the Millenaries. Read more >>
Judit Herskó exhibition

Judit Herskó has lived abroad since 1970. First she moved to Sweden with her parents, later she settled in the USA.
