Tibor Feldmann

The painter Tibor Feldmann was born non 29 March 1945 in Orosháza. Ever since his childhood, he wanted to be a painter so he attended the Károly Kerti graphic arts study circle. Later on, his masters were József Rajki and Ferenc Bazsali but János Lóránt also affected his art greatly.

At the beginning he used tempera or oil. Later he tried paste, ink and coal too. However, the real challenge for him was the aquarelle. He was invited to the National Biennial of Eger several times.

He regularly participated at camps in Tokaj, Zebegény, Bánk, Békés, Gárdony and Lovasberény. His experiences there helped him to develop his art with new colours.

The aim of Tibor Feldmann was to support art life in Orosháza. To do so, he joined forces with a few of his friends and founded the ?Group of Young Painters from Orosháza? in 1963. He was the leader of the group for ages.

His pictures were displayed at a number of national and international exhibitions. His most important exhibitions: Poland (1976), Finland (1984), Czechoslovakia (1988), Japan (1989), Spain (1990), Holland (1994).

Tibor Feldmann died on 27 March 1995.
