Anna Toth: A Fascinating World - Garbage Relief Map

A taste of the exhibition
Where does the frightening production of mess of our consumer society lead? Where do labyrinths built of garbage by Toth Anna lead? How do global littering and the wonderful world of the future meet in the dream of the artist?

The artist with Hungarian origin living in Basque County, Anna Toth, builds organic worlds of industrial garbage in a natural manner. The strong, expressive colours and forms evoke a claustrophobe, intensive impression on purpose. The construction of the catching labyrinth began a month before the opening of the exhibition including several young artists who set up a secret garden from the garbage they had amassed before.

'To be an artist alone, I can hardly imagine it - says Anna Toth. I have to hold out my hands and my heart towards people.'
