Black House (Szeged)
The house was built in the 19th centuary. Its name was given after its blackened walls. The house made an important role in the political and literary life of the town. The exhibitions were opened here in 1985 - after a thorough renovation work of the building. At present a social historical permanent exhibition is held here is, but the hall sometimes offers temporal exhibitions as well, mostly in the fields of applied arts, history and literature.

Ferenc Móra Museum - Museum of Csongrád County Government (Szeged)
During the course of time the museum was directed by such famous men as János Reizner, István Tömörkény or Ferenc Móra. Visitors can see permanent exhibitions in the fields of archeology, ethnography, fine arts, natural science and pharmacy, but temporal exhibitions are also offered, even of foreign collections. The institute can offer special children programs, too. Especially outstanding item of the museum is the work of Mihály Munkácsi entitled the Hungarian conquest.

Kass Gallery (Szeged)
The Kass Gallery was opened in Szeged in 1985. János Kass a freeman of Szeged and an artists of the Munkácsy and several other rewards. The building, which is found in Vár Street, is owned by the town, but the gallery is operated by the Móra Ferenc Museum.

Mátyás Varga's Theatre Historical Exhibition (Szeged)
Mátyás Varga, the freeman of Szeged gifted the exhibition place he himself purchased (11/A Bécsi Rd) to the town in 1986, and arranged a theatre historical exhibition there. The permanent exhibition wa sopened in 1987.

Pick Szalámi and Szeged Paprika Museum (Szeged)
In the Pick collection visitors can review the history of salami production right from the beginning (1869) up to now. On the first floor visitors can learn about the products and the technologies used by the Szeged Paprika Stock Company.

The Episcopal Museum and Treasury of Szeged-Csanád (Szeged)
On 29th June 1995 Endre Gyula county bishop opened the Diocesan Museum and Treasury in one of the wings of the Episcopal Palace. When the arrangement of the permanent exhibition was made, the materials were collected from the parish churches of Csongrád and Békés counties. The exhibition represents the development of the ecclesian art tools and objects.
